One of the victims shot Sunday on I-93 in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood has died from his injuries, police confirmed Tuesday evening.

The victim, identified as 32-year-old Scott Stevens Jr. of Taunton, was shot, as was his father, while both men were riding motorcycles.

Police are investigating whether the incident was connected to another deadly shooting in Dorchester.

Lance Holloman, a person of interest in the shooting death of a woman on Santuit Street, is also being investigated in connection to the I-93 shootings, sources told NBC Boston.

Neighbors say Holloman did not live at the Santuit Street building where the woman was found dead Sunday night, but a girlfriend did and he would often visit.

Monday morning, Holloman was arrested about 40 miles away in Frankin. Police found him screaming for help after a crash on Route 140. He told responding officers he had been kidnapped and tied up. Authorities could not find any evidence of that and said he was agitated and not cooperating.

When police ran Holloman's name, they learned Boston police and Massachusetts State Police were looking for him in connection to the two Dorchester shootings.

Holloman was arraigned Monday in a separate case.

The identity of the victim killed on Santuit Street has not been revealed.

Stevens' father, 54, of Raynham man, was taken to Tufts Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
