2 Stabbed in Haverhill, Mass., Suspect in Custody

Two men were stabbed in Haverhill, Massachusetts early on Sunday morning, according to Haverhill Police.

They were found by first responders on the sidewalk outside of 77 Washington, Street - a bar called The Barking Dog Ale House.

The victims, aged 28 and 30, whose names have not yet been released, were brought to Lawrence General Hospital where one was then flown to Boston where he is in critical condition.

Police said that one suspect, 21-year-old Hayden Delafuente of Haverhill, has been arrested for the stabbings. He is charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury.

Delefuente is being held on $50,000 bail and will be arraigned in Newburyport District Court on Tuesday.
