Authorities are investigating an incident in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood that left a teenager suffering from life-threatening injuries Friday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Police said troopers responded to the area of Gallivan Boulevard in the vicinity of Washington Street at 11:45 p.m. where an 18-year-old male victim was injured.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment. His exact condition is unclear.
No other information regarding what happened was provided by police.
Authorities said the Suffolk District Attorney's Office has taken over the investigation.
