Attleboro Father Dies After Being Attacked by Swarm of Bees

A father of two tragically died over the weekend after he was attacked by a swarm of bees while doing yard work at his home in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

According to the Attleboro Sun, Eric Dahl, 48, was blowing leaves outside his home on Keryn's Way on Saturday afternoon when he was stung by the swarm of bees.

Dahl's wife Alison told the paper that he was rushed by ambulance to Norwood Hospital where he later died of what was believed to have been a heart attack.

Prior to the bee attack, Dahl was in great physical health. His wife told the Attleboro Sun that the couple had run six miles earlier that day.

Dahl also had no allergies to bee stings and had previous been stung with no effects.

According to Alison Dahl, Eric was a systems analyst at Fidelity Investment’s North Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Besides his wife, he leaves behind two daughters.
