Felicia's in Stoneham Has Closed

An old-school Italian restaurant that has been in business for more than 50 years has closed down.

According to a number of posters across social media (including at least one worker at the place), Felicia's in Stoneham shut its doors for good over the weekend, with the Main Street eatery apparently closing at the end of business hours last night. The restaurant was known in part for its classic Italian-American fare such as shrimp scampi, lasagna, baked manicotti, ravioli, linguini carbonara, chicken parmigiana, and veal marsala, and the website mentions that it "has hosted entertainment celebrities, sport figures, politicians and tourists visiting the North End of Boston, and a multitude of neighbors and friends" over the years.

The address for this now-closed Italian dining spot in Stoneham was: Felicia's, 423 Main Street, Stoneham, MA, 02180. Its website is at http://www.feliciasofthenorthend.com/
