Sunday's Report From the Road: New York
Four states in one day, that’s how day one started on our Road to Houston. Two-hundred-and-twenty miles from Gillette Stadium is a Patriots' sanctuary in the middle of Jets/Giants territory.
If you know New York City, this hideout is blocks away from Times Square. It’s an Irish Bar called Tir Na Nog. It’s here that the Tristate Patriots fans assemble. They share more than just beer at this bar; they share their love for New England’s team.
Hundreds of fans gather here every game day. They might get some dirty looks from passersby, but once inside this bar they’re home - a place they’ve hung their hats for three years.
