Coyotes Have Moved Into a Roslindale Neighborhood

There are a few "for sale" signs outside of homes on Ardale Street in Boston's Roslindale neighborhood.

Some people aren’t pleased with the new neighbors moving in; a family of coyotes.

“We saw the animal control truck and asked what was going on and he said there was a coyote mom living in a den with two babies," said Maria Campbell.

Several people called animal control, but the mayor's office insists that it's a state issue.

"They said there was nothing they can do," Campbell said. "I'm concerned. Does something have to happen?"

The Arnold Arboretum a few blocks away, and an urban park is even closer.

Animal control says they're still looking into it the situation, but no final decision has been made.
