Julian Edelman Wins Super Bowl LIII MVP

After hauling in 10 catches for 140 yards, Julian Edelman has been named Super Bowl LIII MVP.

He's the third Patriot to win the award, joining Tom Brady -- who's won the award four times -- and Deion Branch, who took home honors in Super Bowl XXXIX.

Edelman is the first wide receiver to win the award since Santonio Holmes won it for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XXXIII. He joines Holmes, Branch, Hines Ward, Jerry Rice, Lynn Swann and Fred Biletnikoff as the only receivers to win the award.

Edelman is second to only Rice in receptions and receiving yards in postseason history.

The New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Atlanta at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
