A Halifax, Massachusetts, man needs help to regain his vision and a special pair of glasses could do the trick.
Joseph Vasconcelos has Retinitis Pigmentosa, a rare eye disease that's left him in the dark for more than a decade.
"It closes in, pretty much your peripheral vision" said Vasconcelos.
He was diagnosed in 1989, the year he married his high school sweetheart.
"It's been tough, it's been a struggle," said his wife, Jean. "Him losing his vision has put a lot more on me, being the only driver in the house for a long time while the boys were little. We've adapted."
Together the couple has four boys, one of whom Joe has never been able to see.
Their youngest son, Nolan, is 7, and last week, Joe was able to see him for the first time.

"It was amazing," he said.
The fog he describes seeing everyday was lifted by electronic glasses from eSight, a Canadian company that met with the Vasconcelos family last week.
"There's like these three little dots in the front of the glasses. One is a camera and the others, sensors," said his oldest son Justin. "It projects it into the screen in front of your eyes and then from there you can adjust the clarity, the zoom and the contrast."
The glasses cost $10,000, an amount the family can't afford in their own, so Vasconcelos' 20-year-old son is asking for help with a "GoFundMe" page.
"I feel like it's really obtainable to get what we need to get for my dad, but I'm thinking of the big picture," said his son Joe. "I want the next person to be able to afford this. It will change my dad's life and I want someone else to say that it changed their life too."
Vasconcelos said, "I was absolutely amazed at what I could see when I have them on."
The family has raised more than $1,600 so far.
