    The town of Milford, Massachusetts, will take up a vote today to ban recreational marijuana sales. (Published Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017)

    The town of Milford, Massachusetts, is expected to take up a vote banning the sale of recreational marijuana.

    An estimated 51 percent of Milford residents voted to legalized marijuana in November 2016.

    Two marijuana-related businesses have already opened in the town. Those establishments are threatening to leave if the vote passes.
