New Hampshire Woman Arrested with Bra Full of Heroin

Tiffany Ramos allegedly sold heroin to a confidential source on three occasions

A New Hampshire woman was arrested by the Drug Enforcement Administration after she was found with a large quantity of heroin in her bra.

Tiffany Ramos, 26, of Manchester, is charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. The date of the arrest was not given

The U.S. Attorney's Office for New Hampshire said Ramos met with a confidential source on three separate occasions and sold the source a total of 50 grams of heroin. When she was arrested, she had about 125 grams of heroin concealed in her bra. She was held without bail pending a court hearing on July 13.

Also arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance was Hector Bienvenido Mateo-Beltre. He was found with about 200 grams of heroin on him when he was arrested. He was also detained pending a preliminary hearing.

"DEA's exceptional work in this case led to the removal of nearly 1,200 doses of heroin from the streets of our state," Acting U.S. Attorney Donald Feith said. "Our office is committed to combatting the rise in heroin distribution in New Hampshire. We will work with our law enforcement partners to identify, investigate and prosecute those who engage in trafficking this dangerous drug."

The case was investigated by the DEA and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Debra M. Walsh.
