One person is dead after getting hit by a car in Brockton, Massachusetts Tuesday night.
The incident happened on North Maine Street around midnight.
Police say the driver is cooperating and will likely not be charged.
The victim was identified Wednesday as 42-year-old David Santiago of Brockton.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office notes that rain was falling at the time of the crash, saying the driver stopped on impact and is not being identified.
