A Back Bay dining and drinking spot is open once again, more than two months after being forced to close due to a fire.
An email sent today indicates that Piattini has reopened on Newbury Street and as hinted at earlier, it has a new look and feel along with a menu with both new and "tried and true" items and an expanded craft cocktail program. The building in which the restaurant is housed suffered an electrical fire on October 16 that reportedly caused nearly $1 million in damage.
