Victim ID Sought in Esplanade Assault

The suspects were unarmed and attacked the victim around 8:26 p.m. on the bike path

Police are seeking to identify a man who was assaulted and had his bicycle taken from him by a group of four people on the Esplanade in Boston on Tuesday night.

The suspects were unarmed and attacked the victim around 8:26 p.m. on the bike path, west of the Charles River Bistro, and was reported to police at the time by onlookers.

Two of the suspects were arrested the same night and the bike was recovered from them. Police said both were 15-year-old males from Boston.

It's possible that the two suspects who haven't been apprehended are also juveniles.

The victim's image from security footage and a photo of his bike are available to help in identifying him.
