Ready or Not, Snow Has Started Falling in New England

Ready or not, snow has already fallen in some parts of New England.

The massive nor'easter that slammed the region with torrential rain and powerful wind brought some snowflakes to higher elevations.

Peak Resorts said snow fell Thursday on Vermont's Mt. Snow, adding that the resort would soon start making snow.

Snow reportedly fell at Stratton Mountain in Vermont as well.

For other areas in New England, there were damages and power outages as the "bomb cyclone" moved across New England Wednesday night.

As the nor'easter passes out of New England Thursday and Friday, most people will only experience rain and strong wind. And additional snow will mostly be in elevations of 2,500 or 3,000 feet or higher, as well as potentially near the Canadian border.
