Body Found in Connecticut River in Mass.

Authorities are investigating after a body was found in the Connecticut River in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Police say a person walking on a trail near the river around 12:45p.m. on Saturday spotted the body. Authorities have not identified the deceased person but say he was an adult male.

Springfield Police and the Medical Examiner's office is investigating the circumstances of the death. No additional information was released.
