Shows on Las Vegas Strip Resume After Mass Shooting

"Divas Las Vegas" reopened Tuesday, and the show's Frank Marino said getting back onstage is "all about not letting a terrible situation win"

Entertainment was starting back up Tuesday night on the Las Vegas Strip, one day after shows were canceled following the worst mass shooting in modern American history, NBC News reported.

MGM Resorts had canceled all of its Las Vegas shows on Monday, but events were back on schedule by Tuesday, except for the "Michael Jackson One." The show is held at Mandalay Bay, the hotel where gunmen Stephen Paddock shot at concertgoers on Sunday night.

"Divas Las Vegas" reopened Tuesday, and the show's Frank Marino told NBC News that getting back onstage is "all about not letting a terrible situation win."

However, not all shows were back on. Jennifer Lopez performances planned for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at Planet Hollywood were postponed out of respect for the victims.
