Patriots Game Day Forecast

Temperatures near 60 for some Sunday and Monday

Mild air is returning to New England, driving temperatures into the 50s and even near 60 as early as Sunday afternoon. Sunshine will also be widespread after early morning high clouds shift out.

Skies will remain mostly clear for the Patriots game Sunday night in Foxborough. Expect temperatures in the 40s by game time.

There will be a nice view of the full "beaver" moon tonight as well. This full moon is the closest to Earth since January 1948.

Sunshine and warmth continues into Monday with highs again the in the 50s and 60s.

Clouds return with periods of rain on Tuesday. The rain will be heaviest near the coast and in Maine, where some towns will pick up 1 to 2 inches. Totals drop off back to the west.

Winds will also be onshore during that time. Combine that with high astronomical tides on Tuesday and we’re likely to see widespread minor coastal flooding, with pockets of moderate coastal flooding.
