Scattered Snow Showers Join The Cold

Some of the warmest areas will stay near 40 in Southern New England

Snow showers will gradually taper across new england tonight as cold air keeps flowing in.

Lows will drop into the 20s and 30s in Southern New England, with teens and 20s north.

An isolated snow shower will linger over the terrain. Thursday and Friday will both be fairly similar, with a mixture of sun and clouds and a few scattered snow showers as colder air continues to flow in.

Highs both days will be in the teens and 20s north, with 20s and 30s south for the most part.

Some of the warmest areas will stay near 40 in Southern New England. The coldest of the cold settles in Saturday with highs in the teens and 20s. Skies will be partly cloudy.

A system begins to creep closer late sunday into monday, but it looks fairly weak. There could be some flurries or snow showers as that nears. After that temperatures actually climb next week.

A more potent storm for mid-week will likely drag up some warmer air, resulting in a mix or rain across new england.
