Aaron Perry joined NBC10 Boston and NECN in May of 2016.
He is a graduate of Lyndon State College (now Northern Vermont University-Lyndon), home to one of the nation’s top collegiate Atmospheric Sciences programs.
He interned at NECN under Chief Meteorologist Matt Noyes for three years before being offered a full-time position by NBCUniversal prior to his college graduation.
In addition to providing operational support and producing for First Alert Weather on NBC10 Boston and NECN, Aaron develops and maintains NBC Owned Television Stations' exclusive weather forecasting system known as the "NBCU Model." The advanced forecast system is used by meteorologists on-air across the NBC Owned Television Stations Group and is known for its high accuracy in forecasting the weather.
As a lifelong New Englander, Aaron has always had a passion for the wide variety of weather that the region has to offer.
Outside of work, you can find him spending time outdoors, usually hiking in New Hampshire's White Mountains or running around town.
