Munashe Kwangwari

Munashe Kwangwari joined NBC10 Boston and NECN in June 2023 as a morning reporter.

Prior to coming to the Bay State, Munashe spent time in Peoria, Illinois, (WMBD) as a weekend anchor and Louisville, Kentucky, (WLKY) as a morning reporter.

At both stops, Munashe reported on city and state government, education, sports, crime and human interest, but it was his work in Kentucky’s Derby City that earned him an Emmy award in 2021.

It should be noted that Munashe is a hometown kid! He spent his early years in Nashua, New Hampshire and Lowell, Massachusetts, before moving down to Palm Beach, Florida. He would end up graduating from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. (GO BULLS!)

When he is not chasing down stories, he’s either in the gym, exploring the area or cheering for his favorite teams, the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics.
