After April's Block Party, Wu Looks to Keep Downtown Festivities Going

The city’s one-day “Boston Blooms” event last month, meant to draw back people to downtown, served up 2,000 free coffees and 800 beers. A handful of food trucks on the Greenway were sold out within hours of welcoming customers.

Now, the Wu administration is looking to extend the party over the next several months, and bring it beyond the downtown area.
