On Thursday, Boston University’s Nickerson Field will host the last-ever Wiffle Ball tournament to benefit two nonprofits, Franciscan Children’s hospital in Brighton and the Travis Roy Foundation.
The event will be the Roy foundation’s final fundraiser, out of hundreds over a decades-long period, as the foundation winds down following Roy’s death two years ago.
