GE reveals date, details of historic final spinoff

General Electric’s board of directors held a momentous vote the afternoon of Feb. 29 in which board members formally approved the spinoff of GE Vernova as well as the share distribution to GE shareholders.

GE set the spinoff time for the premarket hours of April 2.
