Ever since the Business Journal launched its inaugural list of LGBT-owned businesses in 2016, we’ve tracked how much such businesses contributed to the overall economy in terms of employment
While those contributions had been going on for decades, it was mostly out of the spotlight. Massachusetts has been among the most progressive states in the U.S. for celebrating the diversity of its population, and through our list, we have aimed to include LGBT businesses with other types of diversity.
