BBQ Joints and Wine Bars Opening in the Boston-Area

Among the new restaurant openings in the Boston-area this week are a wine bar and a new BBQ joint.

Oak Barrel Tavern in Worcester is expanding to Sudbury. The popular Worcester spot features bourbon, and burgers and is opening on Route 20 in Sudbury. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. It is set to open in Summer 2018. The address will be 526 Boston Post Road.

Coffee spot Brew on the Grid is expanding throughout the Boston-area. The shop will open locations in Cambridge this month, Lynn in the fall, Marlborough in November, and Salem in 2018. The original location is currently in Worcester and offers salads, sandwiches, and pastries, in addition to coffee.

Finnegan's Wake pub in Walpole has closed down but is hoping to re-open in a location. The pub previously was located in the basement of an old foundry. There is no word where the new location will be. The now-closed location was at 7 Glenwood Avenue in Walpole.
The Smoke Shop BBQ is opening at Assembly Row in Somerville. The popular BBQ restaurant could open an additional 3 locations but it has not been confirmed yet.

The Golden Krust Carribbean Bakery and Grill is opening a new location in Brockton. The Jamaican restaurant chain recently opened its first Boston location in Mattapan in April. The restaurant features items such as pastries, soups, sandwiches, beef patties, and combo plates. The address of the new location will be 708 Belmont Street in Brockton.
Dot 2 Dot Cafe
Dot 2 Dot Cafe in Dorchester closed its doors on Friday. The restaurant first opened more than 9 years ago and served breakfast and lunch. The address was located at 1739 Dorchester Avenue.

A new wine bar, Moon Bar, is opening in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. The wine bar will be located two floors below Mooncussser Fish House with the kitchen separating the two places. The 48-seat bar will have a separate menu including a softshell crab BLT, grilled swordfish souvlaki, and fried scallops ravioli. The wine bar will also serve craft beers on tap and some dessert options. The bar will be open Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. The address will be 304 Stuart Street.

Bon Me is opening another location in Cambridge's Kendall Square. The group of Vietnamese food trucks is expanding with another restaurant. The new spot will have seating for 45 people and another 48 outdoors. The restaurant might open this month. The address will be 60 Binney Street in Cambridge.
