Cape Cod has ranked among the most expensive places in the U.S. to tie the knot, according to a new study.
Based on the average cost of a wedding in 2015, couples spent about $54,334 to say "I do" in the popular summertime destination.
The Cape came in at No. 6 on the list, followed by Rhode Island at No. 7.
Manhattan and Chicago took the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Alaska takes claim to the most affordable spot.
In regards to statistics, the average U.S. wedding cost (excluding the honeymoon) costs about $32,641.
