A public ice skating rink is slated to open in Boston's Fenway neighborhood in early December, just in time for the holidays.
The Rink at 401 Park will be located in an up-and-coming part of the city, right next to Time Out Market and Trillium Brewery's Fenway taproom. Built by Samuels & Associates, the seasonal rink will boast more than 6,000 square feet of ice in an outdoor setting.
Theme nights, live DJs, sporting events and skating lessons will be a part of the rink’s programming, according to Samuels & Associates. The rink will be open seven days a week and will welcome visitors of all ages.
Discounted entrance fees will be available to minors, students and seniors.
