Boston Police Officer Back on the Job

A Boston police officer is back on the job after being put on leave this summer after a shooting at her nephew's memorial service.

Twenty-year-old Angel Oller, the nephew of Boston Police Officer Ydritzabel Oller, was shot and killed in August.

The decorated veteran officer attended her nephew's memorial service in Roxbury, where someone fired shots in the crowd of mourners.

A source close to the investigation told necn at the time that Oller, who was off-duty at the time, was being investigated because video surveillance seemed to show Oller taking an object from someone near the shooting and not telling police about it.

However, Boston police tell necn the internal investigation is complete and Officer Oller was cleared of any wrongdoing.

They have not responded to our requests for more information, except to say she is back to full duty.
