In a seesaw game that featured seven lead changes, the Patriots came out on the short side, losing to the Seahawks 31-24.

Following the two minute warning, Tom Brady hit tight end Rob Gronkowski with a 26-yard pass to the Seattle 2-yard line. The Patriots offense showed no rust coming off the bye-week, as Brady marched the team down the field on the opening drive, punctuated by a LeGarrette Blount 1-yard touchdown run.

The Seahawks answered with three straight scoring drives, capped by a 6-yard Russell Wilson to Doug Baldwin touchdown pass to put the Seahawks on top 12-7.

Blount scored his second touchdown of the game, carrying most of the Seahawks defenders on his back, as he powered into the end zone from the 1-yard line with 1:05 remaining in the half.

Wilson made the most of the minute, shredding the Patriot's defense and finding Baldwin wide open for an 18-yard score.
