If Cuba is on your travel bucket list, you'll soon have more options to get there by way of Boston's Logan Airport.

JetBlue announced Tuesday it will begin the first nonstop service to Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport from Boston on Saturdays in November.

According to Business Wire, the new service is the result of frequencies granted to the airline by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Massport CEO Thomas Glynn said the new service will provide better connections between New England and Cuba in the healthcare, biotechnology, financial, cultural and educational fields.

"There has been a strong demand for this service and we look forward to the exciting new travel opportunities it will generate for the entire New England region," Glynn said.

JetBlue is also adding two new daily nonstop flights to Mexico City with service from Boston and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport beginning Oct. 25.

The Saturday flights from Boston to Cuba begin on Nov. 11.
