Wormtown Brewery Opens New Taproom at Patriot Place

A popular Massachusetts brewery has opened a new brewery and taproom at Patriot Place in Foxborough.

Worcester-based Wormtown Brewery entered into an agreement earlier this year with Maynard-based Battle Road Brewery, which previously operated a 4,000 square-foot space last fall at Patriot Place. Under the agreement, Wormtown built a new taproom in the space formerly occupied by Battle Road.

The former Battle Road Brewery pop-up space has been completely renovated to encompass Wormtown's vibe. In addition to a new white tile bar, large patio, indoor/outdoor fireplace, and three new murals, Wormtown has also installed a brew system that will be fully operational for the start of the year and allow the brewery to offer new and different beers from the Worcester location.

“We are ecstatic to open the doors and finally let people see all the hard work everyone put into this place.” Managing Partner David Fields said.

Opening weekend featured pints and flights from 14 draft lines as well as a wide selection of packaged beer for patrons to purchase and take home. Food offerings will include chips and salsa, a cheese board and Australian meat pies. Customers will also be able to have food delivered from other Patriot Place restaurants that Wormtown is partnering with.

“We are thrilled Wormtown will be opening their second brewery and taproom at Patriot Place this Saturday,” said Brian Earley, vice president and general manager of Patriot Place. “With Wormtown’s New England roots and original location in Worcester, our partnership was a natural choice and we are excited to open the Patriot Place location."
