1 Dead in Framingham Apartment Fire

The fire at 15 Clark St. began in the kitchen and took the life of Harold Anderson, Jr.

A 29-year-old man is dead person after an early-morning fire in his Framingham, Massachusetts apartment, officials said Tuesday.

Harold Anderson, Jr., 29, was declared dead after the fire broke out at his apartment at 15 Clark St. around 2:45 a.m., according to the Department of Fire Services.

The fire began in the apartment's kitchen, though it remained unclear how it began.

Anderson was the only occupant of the apartment, officials said, adding the fire appeared to be accidental.

The fire was under investigation by fire officials as well as the office of Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
