One firefighter was injured while battling a small fire in East Boston early Tuesday morning.
The fire started at Milano's Bakery at 978 Saratoga St. around 1 a.m.
Fire crews evacuated the surrounding apartments and the fire was quickly contained.
One firefighter was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
