Police say the crash happened around 6 p.m. near 576 Vernon St. in Bridgewater.

A black Honda Ridgeline, being driven by Brian Gourge of 66 Belmont St. in Marlborough, allegedly tried to make a left-hand turn into a driveway, cutting in front of an oncoming car, which was driven by Suzanne Keith of 35 Springhill Ave. in Bridgewater.

Police say Keith and five of her passengers were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, while Gourge and his passengers, identified as ages 10, 9 and 6, were also taken to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Gourge has been cited for various driving violations, including failure to stay in marked lanes, failure to use a signal and negligent operation.
