A 14-year-old male suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head in Lowell, Mass.
Police responded to a call at 3:45pm on Tuesday. Upon arriving at 35 Mead Street, police discovered the boy conscious, alert and talking. The victim was transported to Tufts Medical Center in Boston for further treatment.

The incident remains under investigation by the Lowell Police Department.
