Bike to Work Day Festival

Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse

Harpoonfest 2018

It’s Harpoonfest weekend! On Friday and Saturday enjoy two days live music, food trucks and beer as Harpoon kicks off summer with this annual festival. All events are 21+. General admission is $25 and includes souvenir pint cup and one beer ticket. 5:30-11 p.m. (doors close at 9:30 p.m.), Harpoon Brewery, 306 Northern Ave., Boston.

Superhero Day

Meet your favorite superhero and learn how to be a superhero for endangered species during Superhero Day at the Franklin Park Zoo. Greenway Open Market

Swing into Spring Community Event

The Lawn on D’s first family event of the season – Swing into Spring – happens today with hands-on activities all day long with bands (for both adults and children), crafts, ReadBoston’s Storymobile, Evan the Magician, animal adventures, face painting, lawn games and more. 3rd Annual Cinema Somerville Outdoor Film Festival

Bowl with a Bruin

Bowl with a Bruin returns to Wamesit Lanes in Tewksbury for this bowl-a-thon event that benefits the Boston Bruins Foundation Pan Mass Challenge Bike Team and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wamesit Lanes, 434 Main St., Tewksbury. 

Robin Hood’s Faire

Grab the family, hit the road and check out this enchanted recreation of a 16th-century spring festival with continuous themed entertainment including jousting, armored combat, archery, games, comedy and more.
