A 15-year-old South Boston boy with autism who was missing since Christmas has been found safe, according to the Boston Police Department.
Police initially said the missing teen was found Tuesday after he was last seen at about 11 p.m. Monday in the area of Patterson Way in South Boston. On Wednesday, police said the 15-year-old was still missing.

Later in the day, police canceled their missing person alert, announcing that the teen has been located and is safe.
