16-Year-Old Gunned Down While Riding His Bike Laid to Rest

Thursday was a difficult morning for the family and friends of the 16-year-old Boston boy gunned down last week, as a funeral mass celebrated his life.

Hundreds of people were in attendance for the funeral mass of Jonathan Dos Santos at Saint Peter's in Dorchester.

Dos Santos was shot while riding his bike, and two other teenagers, 16-year-old Dushawn Taylor-Gennis and 14-year-old Raeshawn Moody, are charged with his murder.

There's still no word on motive from authorities; however, people who knew Dos Santos said he was a good kid who was killed because he resisted getting involved with gangs in the city.

Dos Santos' body was taken to the new Calvary Cemetery in Mattapan for burial.

The two suspects accused in his murder will be back in court next month for a probable cause hearing.
