2 Hospitalized After High CO Levels Found in Apartment Complex

Firefighters believe the source of the carbon monoxide was smoldering underground cables near the Elbow Street building

Two people are in a hospital following a carbon monoxide leak Sunday night in an East Boston apartment complex. 

Firefighters believe the source of the carbon monoxide was smoldering underground cables near the Elbow Street building. 

People were evacuated from the building around midnight. 

High levels were also found in the nearby East Boston courthouse.
