Police at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth are investigating a sexual assault in a residential hall.
Initially, two sexual assaults were reported in Pine Dale Hall. The first incident happened last Tuesday, when a female victim living in "Pine Dale Hall" told police a man entered her unlocked room in the middle of the night and assaulted her.
A second incident was reported to have occurred two days later. Police now say that she has "significantly changed" her version of the events. Additionally, according to police, she no longer wants to pursue charges or any criminal investigation.
