MBTA Transit Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with a shooting that occurred Monday that left two women injured.
The incident happened at 2 p.m. at the Forest Hills MBTA Station. A male armed with a handgun exited the station doors leading to the 39th bus berth, turned around as he was exiting, and fired several gunshots into the station.
Moments later a woman reported to police that she was grazed by a bullet. Her injuries were non-life-threatening.
Boston EMS responded to a report of a 60-year-old female complaining of back pain. The woman was not aware she sustained a gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital with a life-threatening injury.
The victims’ conditions are unknown, but it is believed they were not the intended targets.
The two suspects, both 18, have not been identified. Police are investigating into if the incident was gang-related.
