2 More New England Sears Stores Set to Close

Sears has released another list of stores it plans to close, and two in New England are on it.

The new list, which includes the Sears stores in Meriden, Connecticut and Waterville, Maine, is in addition to previous lists of unprofitable stores that will be closing

The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October.

At its peak, the operator of Sears and Kmart had 4,000 stores in 2012, but will now be left with a little more than 500.
