1 Plane Clips Another at Gate at Boston's Logan Airport

One Delta plane clipped another while taxiing

One Delta plane hit another at a gate at Boston's Logan International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

Massachusetts Port Authority officials said one plane that was taxiing clipped another plane that was parked at the gate.

No passengers were on either plane, and no one was injured.

Massport said the incident was considered very minor.

Delta said in a statement that "The wingtips of two empty aircraft made contact as one aircraft was being repositioned." They said maintenance technicians have evaluated both planes and no significant delays are expcted.
