A second victim has died following a double shooting Friday night in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
Officers were in the area and heard shots fired in the area of 277 Centre St.They responded to the area of 277 Centre St. to find two people shot.
Police said the scene was chaotic as more than 100 residents and passersby gathered at the shooting scene. At one point, it appeared that some people in the crowd was going to on officers. Police said they were able to get the scene under control quickly.
CPR was performed at the scene, and both victims were taken to Boston Medical Center.
A man in his 50s died from his injuries.
Boston Police Commissioner William Evans says no motive is known. He is asking anyone who saw anything to call police at (617) 343-4470.
