There is a lot happening in the city this weekend, from concerts including the Eagles and Foo Fighters, to the Latin Music Festival at City Hall Plaza and the sand sculpting festival at Revere Beach (just to name a few). With so much to choose from, we narrowed it down to a couple dozen to help you plan your weekend of fun.

Friday, July 20 

Fun Free Fridays

Highland Street Foundation’s Fun Free Fridays offers no-cost admission to some of the most treasured, cultural venues in the state. Today enjoy free admission to: The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Gloucester Stage Company, the Garden at Elm Bank, Chatham Shark Center, New Bedford Whaling Museum, the Nantucket Maria Mitchell Association, the Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History, Springfield Museums, the Discovery Museum and the Hall at Patriot Place.

Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series

Join the Boston Public Health Commission, Boston Parks and Recreation Dept. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as they kick off the summer of 30 free outdoor fitness classes each week in and around the city. These free classes take place throughout Boston’s 18 neighborhoods and two dozen parks all summer long. Today try Bootcamp at 6:30 a.m. at Christopher Columbus Park in the North End or a walking group at 10 a.m. at Moakley Park in South Boston.

Free Fun Friday at the MFA

Visit the MFA today and enjoy free admission during the museum’s 10th annual Highland Street Foundation Free Fun Friday. Enjoy hands-on art-making activities, join engaging tours and see thought-provoking exhibitions — all for free. 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston.

Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival

You don’t want to miss the Revere Beach 2018 International Sand Sculpting Festival this weekend. Enjoy the competition, along with food trucks, vendors and amusements for the entire family. Plus, Saturday night stay late for fireworks. 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Revere Beach, Revere.

Harpoon Camp Wannamango

The Lawn on D teams up with L.L.Bean to bring a real life Camp Wannamango to your back door. Head down to The Lawn on D tonight for some adult camping with relay games, L.L. Bean exclusive prizes, beer and more. 6-10 p.m., The Lawn on D, 420 D St., Boston.

Citizens Bank Weekly Cornhole Tournament

The weekly cornhold tournament, sponsored by Citizens Bank returns for summer.The first eight teams of two will compete for “Lawn Bucks.” All the fun starts at 6:45 p.m.. Sign up for free at the Citizens Bank kiosk starting at 6:30 p.m. The Lawn on D, 420 D St., Boston. 

Boston Harbor Hotel’s Summer in the City Entertainment Series: Movie Fridays

Friday is movie night during the Boston Harbor Hotel’s Summer in the City concert series. Tonight enjoy a movie on the big screen for your waterfront entertainment. The movie starts at dusk, Boston Harbor Hotel, 70 Rowes Wharf, Boston.

The Eagles at TD Garden

The Eagles featuring Don Don Henley, Joe Walsh & Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey take the stage tonight at the TD Garden for the first of two shows this weekend. Tickets start at $89. 8 p.m., TD Garden, 100 Legends Way, Boston.

Join the Boston Public Health Commission, Boston Parks and Recreation Dept. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as they kick off the summer of 30 free outdoor fitness classes each week in and around the city. These free classes take place throughout Boston’s 18 neighborhoods and two dozen parks all summer long. This morning enjoy a walking group at 8 am. At Franklin Park in Dorchester, yoga at 9:15 a.m. at Franklin Park, Dorchester, yoga at 10 a.m. at Healy Playground, Roslindale or bootcamp at 11 a.m. at Almont Park in Mattapan.

Kids Cooking Class to Benefit Make A Wish

Join the chef at Maggiano’s for a children’s cooking class to benefit the Make a Wish foundation. Your tasty creation can be taken home to be cooked and enjoyed. Maggiano’s provides the ingredients, along with chef hats and aprons. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with a breakfast buffet. Brazil on the Greenway

For the third year in a row, Brazil on the Greenway returns with a day full of Brazilian food, live music, artwork and free activities for all ages. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Dewey Square, 600 Atlantic Ave., Boston.

Sweat & Sip: Keg Yard Edition

Get your bootcamp-style workout in at the Harpoon Keg Yard. After the one-hour class, enjoy beer and pretzels in the keg yard. All ability levels are welcome. Tickets are $25 and include the fitness class taught by Reebok's Lead Trainer, Kevin O'Connell and one beer token. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Harpoon Keg Yard, 306 Northern Ave., Boston.

Boston Harbor Lighthouse Tour

Enjoy the history of the Boston Harbor lighthouses on a narrated, two-hour cruise. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 for seniors/students/military and $25 for children. Toddlers are free. Tours today at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tours depart from the Boston Harbor Islands Welcome Center on the Rose Kennedy Greenway (across from the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel. 

Family Film Festival

Enjoy a family-friendly movie tonight on the Prudential Center’s South Garden at the MAGIC 106.7 Family Film Festival. Tonight it’s “Coco.” Entertainment, children’s activities and giveaways start at 6 p.m. All movies are free and start at sundown. Don’t forget those picnic blankets or lawn chairs, too. The Foo Fighters at Fenway Park

The Foo Fighters return to Fenway Park Saturday and Sunday July 21 and 22 at 5:30 p.m. as part of their Concrete and Gold Tour. Tickets start at $79. Fenway Park, Boston.

11th annual Caliente! Latin Music Festival

Caliente! returns to City Hall for its 11th year, celebrating Latin music, art and dance. 7-9 p.m., City Hall Plaza, 1 City Square, Boston.

Tango in the Park 

Tango in the Park returns for its third year bringing the tango and its music to the open air. This year’s summer season opens with the Boston Tango Orchestra, Hernan and Anita performance and lessons for beginners. This is a rain or shine event. Miranda Lambert with Little Big Town at Xfinity Center
