Globe: 3 Mass. Schools File Lawsuit Against DOR

Wellesley College, Northeastern and Boston University have filed the lawsuit

The Massachusetts Department of Revenue is now dealing with a lawsuit from three schools.

According to the Boston Globe, Wellesley College, Northeastern and Boston University accuse the agency of denying them millions of dollars in tax credits for cleanup work done on contaminated properties.

It is part of the state's Brownfield Tax Incentive program, which offers tax credits to property owners who cleanup work on contaminated properties.

The agency, so far, isn't commenting on the lawsuit.
