3 Boston Public Library Facilities Managers Placed on Leave Pending Probe

The employees were reportedly placed on leave two weeks ago

The Boston Public Library confirmed Tuesday that three of its facilities managers have been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.

The Boston Public Library would not release any details about its investigation, including what the employees may have done to warrant being placed on leave.

According to the Boston Herald, the three employees were placed on administrative leave two weeks ago. Their names have not been released.

Boston Public Library officials would not comment when asked about the situation. Mayor Marty Walsh's office referred questions to the library, and city councilors contacted by the Herald refused comment.

No further information is expected to be released until the investigation is completed.
