3 Rescued After Car Crashes Into Boston Furniture Store

Three people had to be rescued early Sunday morning when the car they were inside somehow crashed into a Boston furniture store.

Firefighters said the car went into the building at 240 Stuart St. at 2:25 a.m. in the Back Bay.

After being pulled from the car, the occupants were taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The first floor of the 8-story building is home to Showroom Collezione, a high-end furniture and interior design business.

Authorities said Boston's Inspectional Services is checking the building for structural damage.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
