A 6-year-old boy remains in critical condition after he was pulled from a pond in Wareham, Massachusetts, on Saturday.
Authorities responded to Maple Park Campground in East Wareham regarding a reported water emergency. First responders found an EMT certified individual performing CPR on the the unresponsive boy after people on scene rescued him from the pond.
The child was transported to Tobey Hospital and then transported via medical helicopter to a Boston-area hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The boy and his mother, who are from Middleboro, were staying at the campground at the time of the incident.
